Memphis School of Excellence Wins 1st Place in the Memphis-Area Joint Engineers Council Championship (MJEC)

    Memphis School of Excellence had 5 projects enter into the Championship round, and MSEC project entry “Robot Serving those with Limited Mobility” earned 1st Place in the middle school category. Students presented a robot that can help those with disabilities with common tasks, such as putting laundry into the laundry basket. Student representatives are members of the MSEC FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Team: Jumanah A. (8th grade), Ru’Shawn B. (7th grade), Emmanuel L. (6th grade), and Saba A. (6th grade). Other project presenters are Kai L. (6th grade), Sayf S. (6th grade), Isaiah L. (8th grade), Kayden W.(6th grade), Justus B. (9th garde), Gavin E.(6th grade). Each student received a cash prize, and MSE received $400 toward our STEM program. Thank you to our amazing future engineers and their parents for their endless work and support.
