The MATE ROV Competition is an exciting annual event that challenges teams of students from around the world to design, build, and operate underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). The competition provides a platform for students to showcase their technical and problem-solving skills as they complete a series of complex tasks that simulate real-world scenarios in the ocean and freshwater environments. Our school's underwater robotics team participated in this year's competition, and we are proud to announce that they brought home two trophies! The team won the Best Technical Report Award for their comprehensive documentation of the design, build, and testing process of their ROV. They also won the Environmental Awareness Award for their focus on environmental sustainability in their design and operation of the ROV. We want to congratulate the following students who worked tirelessly to make this achievement possible: Hasan Akif C,Kaden W, Gavin E. Their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence are a testament to their hard work and the support of our school community. We look forward to their continued success and contributions to the field of underwater robotics.
