Meet Your Teacher: Dr. Osman Mootloo

Hello, my name is Dr. Osman Mootloo, and I've been teaching since 1996. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching a variety of subjects, including science, geometry, physics, physical science, and chemistry. Currently, I teach 10th-grade physical science, 11th-grade chemistry, and AP environmental science.

I have a deep passion for technology, 3D modeling, and scientific innovations, and I love incorporating these interests into my teaching. My teaching philosophy is simple: "The main purpose of you being in this class is to learn about the environment and ways in which you can help to sustain it. Each and every time that you enter this classroom, you will be challenged and engaged in learning."

One of my favorite aspects of teaching is conducting experiments and projects. I find that hands-on activities not only make learning more enjoyable but also help students grasp complex concepts more effectively. I'm here to support and challenge you throughout your educational journey, and I look forward to a great year ahead!
